Live Concert 2026
Carnatic Vocalist
KLCT was the vision of Lakshmi Amma, a devoted art connoisseur, curator, critic, and columnist. Her deep connection with renowned and lesser-known artists alike helped preserve dying art forms and brought ideas to foster love for arts in children. Her heart was in villages; she envisioned supporting projects that strived to improve living conditions and schooling in villages.
The fund raiser, organized by Kalpakalakshmi Charitable Trust (KLCT), will support our activities in promoting sustainability in villages, education for all and conservation of art forms.
Making education accessible to those who lack the privilege of it has been one of our core focus areas. From building toilets for girls in rural schools to establishing libraries, KLCT continues to make significant strides in this mission.
As the quality of life declines due to environmental degradation, diminishing clean air, fresh water, and safe food, KLCT actively supports environmental protection initiatives across the country.
KLCT is deeply committed to supporting artists and artisans in both visual and performing arts, preserving traditional art forms that are at risk of disappearing in the face of modernity.
